The 5th China-Japan-South Korea Water Science Research Forum, as a part of 2022 China-Japan-South Korea Forum of Jilin University, will be held online by the College of New Energy and Environment at Jilin University on November 19-20, 2022.
The theme of this year is “Building Secure and Smart Water Systems in the Uncertain Future”, with four sessions as “Urban Flooding and Resilience”, “Watershed Hydrology and Management”, “Urban Hydrometeorology”, and “AI and Smart Water Systems”. We hope that this two-day forum could serve as a broad platform for sharing and discussing the regional research advances in water science, and could also maintain the bridge of friendship through the pandemic that connects talented young scientists from the three countries.
“The forum has collaborated with IWA Publishing to create an online collection, which can be found here: https://iwaponline.com/pages/cc_5th_cjsk_water_forum
Presenters, audiences, and researchers having manuscripts with topics that generally fall into the scope of the above sessions would be invited to submit to the relevant IWA Publishing journal. A full list of the journals can be found here: https://iwaponline.com/ Please carefully check the journals’ Aims and Scope to ensure your manuscript is within scope, and the Instructions for Authors to make sure they meet the format requirements. When submitting your manuscript, please enter the name of the Forum in the submission question regarding conference publication. Following successful peer review, selected articles will be added to this online collection given your permission. For those Open Access journals with Article Processing Charges, there will be a 10% discount on the APCs. Please contact the meeting organizer (Dr. Youcan Feng, youcan_feng@jlu.edu.cn) for more details.”
Please find the detailed agenda and meeting IDs as follows. We look forward to seeing everyone on the forum.
