Achievements Outline

Qin was the visiting scholar of Oregon Health & Science University, USA. He is the principal investigator of Natural Science Foundation Project (including General Program, Youth Fund Program and Key Program), Doctoral Fund Project of Education Ministry of China, Postdoctoral Science Foundation Project of China (including Special Foundation Program, and General Program), Jilin Province Science Foundation Project for Youths. He has also participated in the project of National Water Pollution Control and Treatment Science and Technology, National Key R&D Program of China, and other related projects. Qin has published more than 30 academic papers, including more than 10 SCI papers in the journal of Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Hazardous Materials, etc. He has published 1 textbook, and has been authorized two invention patents. Qin has received the “Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award” in 2012 in Jilin province. Qin has been selected by the WEF Board of Trustees as the 2014 recipient of the WEF “McKee Groundwater Protection, Restoration or Sustainable Use Award”. He has also been selected in "excellent young teacher training program” of Jilin University (key training stage in 2015, elite training stage in 2018, respectively). As the fifth participant, he won the Second Class Prize of Science Technology Improvement Award of Ministry of Education, and the Second Class Prize of Science Technology Improvement Award of Jilin Province.
