Achievements Outline

Lu has successfully undertaken 5 projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, sub-projects of the National Key Research and Development projects, and key projects supported by the Science and Technology Department of Jilin Province, etc.

He has published more than 200 academic journal papers, including 61 by SCI and 39 by EI. He has published 3 academic monographs and 1 national invention patent. Professor Lu has been awarded 2 second prizes of Scientific and Technological Progress of Jilin Province and 2 second prizes of scientific and technological achievements of Ministry of Geology Mineral Resources.

Professor Lu has been honored as the top-notch innovative talent in Jilin Province. He was honored as a visiting professor at the Faculty of Science, University of Waterloo, Canada from March 2006 to March 2007. He is also the Counselor of Jilin Provincial Government, the member of the discipline review group of the Jilin Provincial Degree Committee, the member of the third decision-making consultation committee of Jilin Provincial Government and the editorial board of "Journal of Hydraulic Engineering" and "Chinese Karst".
